As for the day

A bright light shone around the globe for reminders of the hurtling stones of space at night for thousands of miles. Hailstones fell like Easter eggs in brilliant lightning storms. The radio shot out a warning not to panic and, general panic was averted but the responder call system was at full bandwidth for the duration of the events, so the story goes. On to say, the insurance behemoth Residiont files for bankruptcy and the even larger behemoth MNRI is tendering an offer. Might sell umbrellas for tomorrow.
